Bantam Vape moves forward to next step in PMTA process

Last fall, we shared that our brand’s PMTA had been formally filed for substantive review by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration after the agency had completed a preliminary review of our application. We are now excited to share the latest development in our application’s journey—entry into the scientific review phase.  

As the final phase in the PMTA process prior to the FDA’s decision to grant a marketing order, this phase involves FDA taking an even deeper dive into our application, evaluating scientific studies and other materials submitted in conjunction with our application.

Bantam Vape moves forward to next step in PMTA process

In our most recent blog post, we announced the acceptance of our PMTA application by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. We are now excited to share the latest development in our application’s journey—our application has formally been “filed” by the FDA.

In short, we’ve received a filing letter from the FDA letting us know that their preliminary review of our PMTA is complete.

From here, our application moves to the next step of the process and undergo a formal substantive review. In this next stage, the FDA will conduct an in-depth evaluation of the scientific studies and data we submitted with our PMTA.

As you may have already heard, we’re submitting a Premarket Tobacco Application (PMTA) for various Bantam products with the intention of receiving a marketing order from the FDA. Simply stated, this marketing order will allow Bantam products to stay on the shelf and enjoyed by adult consumers for years to come.

Due to various factors, we’ve made the choice to include select products in our PMTA submission. We’ve put great thought into which products will be included in our PMTA, especially our consumers’ preferences.

We know flavor availability is important to you. While you may notice that we’ve made slight updates to our product line – including new flavor names, packaging, etc. -- rest assured that these improvements will only help us continue offering flavors for all palates.
